Reservoir Veterinary Clinic is a small animal veterinary practice, providing veterinary service at the highest level. With an established core of committed clients, we are seeking an experienced full-time Veterinary Nurse, with energy and drive to contribute, to our committed and compassionate team.
In this role, you will be provided with an opportunity to advance your skills and knowledge in a busy, energetic, environment with a varied caseload, including a growing number of small herbivores. In our daily work, our team uses Diagnostic Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Laparoscopy, in house laboratory and HF Radiology. We have a separate sterile surgical suite with an electrosurgical unit, patient multi-monitors, Doppler BP, as well as well-equipped orthopaedic and soft tissue kits. The clinic is also fully computerized and runs Ciderhouse Vet software.
The right candidate will have a commitment and passion for high level patient and client care and the desire to provide exemplary customer service. The perfect candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team whilst demonstrating strong communication skills, along with having a collaborative team approach.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 12 months experience in Veterinary Nursing with appropriate qualifications
- An ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of the team
- A high level of skill in monitoring anaesthetics is necessary
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated client relationship building skills
- A hard working and a hands-on approach to your work
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels, with energy and drive
- Effective time management and organisation skills.
